Doug asked:

Every time i go to my storage unit it comes on like i havnt taken a crap in weeks, EVEN if i sit on the toilet prior to going to storage and I try to poop for 20 min and nothing comes out, but 1 min at storage and it materializes and i have to rush home. This ALSO happends every time i get on a internet cafe’ computer, or start walking through the woods. CAN ANYONE SHED SOME LIGHT?? ITS REALLY ANNOYING!!!!!

    It could be stress.
    The one thing all three of the examples you listed have in common is that they are all places where you can’t easily just “go” (which means that you are not in control of the situation and thereby get stressed and have to poop - or at least feel like you do). It is similar to a panic attack.
    It’s not uncommon and may require therapy and/or medication if it gets worse and becomes a problem with you being able to do things in a normal manner.
    Good Luck (and get help if and when you think you might need it). justjoe3000

    Maybe it’s your body’s way of telling you you don’t need the sh*t that’s in your storage unit… Save some $, sell that stuff on eBay or have a yard sale, and quick! Before the economy collapses for good!

    I always had to go the minute I stepped inside WalMart. I fixed my problem by going to WalMart before going out to dinner. richmicknremtp

    I have had this same problem. I’m thinking of publishing research on it, I will call it “The Locational Property of Bowel Stimulation”.

    I postulate that the urgency, U, with which you need a toilet is proportional to the difficulty in reaching a toilet, D:

    U = D^L

    where L is a factor related to your last meal (labeled L to stand for “lunch factor). L is increased by certain meals (beans, Mexican food, fresh fruit), and decreased by others (cheese, etc.):

    L = 1.2*F + V - 1.5*C + M + E

    F = fruit (note the extra 1.2 factor, fruit can be used as a laxative!)
    V = vegetables (fiber!)
    C = cheese
    M = meat
    E = ethnic food factor, 1.0 for bland foods, 1.3 for mild to moderate spice, 1.5 for spicy
    All numbers are percent of the last meal, entered as decimals. This means you get a number greater than 1 for L, so your meals increase urgency!

    I can see it now, an honorary Ph. D. for my deep shit research… Adam W
