I just moved out of state and I’ve been staying at an apartment, turns out the lease doesn’t allow me to keep firearms in the home and rather than risk breaking my lease, I’ve thought about getting a climate controlled storage facility. The facility has gate access which requires a pin to enter, and numerous video cameras around the facility, the climate controlled units are inside. Would this be a bad idea? Somehow I don’t think storing them in my trunk is any better.

I am working in an area, cleaning up around lead storage, what are the hazards. It is very dirty and dusty in there. Is there a risk of me getting dust on myself and taking it home?

My hot water storage tank is leaking, but I’m going on vacation. Can I shut off the supply until I come back?

The tank needs replaced. I’ve been aware of this for a couple of months, but now it is leaking hot water. The question is, can I shut off the supply to the tank and just let it drain, then replace it when I get back next week? Should I also shut down the boiler? Since I won’t be home, and it’s summer, there will be no call for heat or hot water. Is there any risk to shutting down the boiler for a week?
