today i was at a public storage auction, i went with myfather and there was this storage unit that was filled with stuff and it had big furniture so no one wanted, so i shout out ill take it for $5. The guy said ok $5, anyone else, and then we started to argue and my father was saying to me, oh dont get it you have no room for anything, and so on, so the suctioneer asked if anyone else wanted it and tey all said no so he closed it up and made the other people sign this paper, he didnt offer me to sign it, so we left after viewing the others, and he basically showed everyone to their car, i went home and about an hour later i went back to see if i could still get it and a woman told me no. So the question is I placed a bid on it and never retracted my bid, or was asked if i wanted to retract it so can i go back there and tell them that i want it because i technically bid on it, never signed any papers saying i declined bidding.
note: i am over 21 and i am only making a bg deal of it because three was nice big furniture, TV’s and some louis vuitton bags, all together i would asy it was worth over $2000

While I was gone, my father decided to take my things from this house, and move them into his public storage unit. Now that I am home, he refuses to give them back to me. Is there anything I can do?

I haven’t had a relationship with this man in years, I don’t owe him anything, I don’t believe he has a right to hold my stuff.
