What do I do to remove brother’s property from house so it can be put up for sale ?
house has to be up for sale before medicaid will start paying. brother is in jail at least 2 more months. can his property be removed and put in some kind of storage ? It is a lot better than sitting in an empty house, just waiting to be broken into and then destroy everything there. thanks,

I’m praying for a miracle so we don’t have to get rid of her things (which are also my gram’s things) they are so precious to both of us! I have NO IDEA what I’m to to with all her things….. there’s no $ for storage or space anywhere else. My whole life is in that apartment. I wish I could just move in. I can’t throw her things away….. I’m so scared

I want to have a mini cabin, or something the like, put here on my property for my mother to live in, approx. 12 ft x 16 ft. How much should I expect to pay to have an area approximately 20 ft wide x 75 ft long leveled and graveled?
What if I purchased a cedar storage building from Home Depot and put a foundation down for it and had it insulated and wired for heat and lights? I would wait on plumbing and would have it added later. Is someone out there that can advise me what all is involved and how much would it cost to give my mom a place of her own?

what2do asked:

My mom passed way in 2005 and my former stepdad decided to get remarried and his new wife pretty much told him to dump his past and that’s what he did. Anyway, I inherited some things and those things have been sitting is storage since July of 2006 and I’ve been wasting $80 a month to store it since I can’t get it yet cause it’s in Illinois and I’m in virginia. I’ve been lucky enough to have a dear friend who’s cleared out the unwanted items so the to keep ones are still in there. I’m back in state right now and I plan to go get the remains tomorrow and UHaul them to my dad’s house. I’m at the point of, is it worth the headache to keep it versus just donating it? It’s been such a headache. We are gonna have to hire someone to load and unload it. Plus I won’t be able to actually have it at my own home until we get our own house.
Its such a headache to even think about. Anyone else been through this or have any words of comfort or advice.

Thanks!
