How does renting a storage place work and how can I know if it is a good, safe clean place at a fair price?
DisneyBride asked:
My fiancee and I are getting married next summer but we want to start buying some furniture and things for our home between now and then when we see things we like on sale and at auctions and yard sales. However, we won’t have our home untill probably January at the earliest, more likely March-April. We need to rent a storage place but I have no idea how to go about doing this. How do I know how much space we need to rent? How much is a fair price? What precautions does the storage place and us need to take to make sure that our things are safe from leaky roofs, theifs, etc.
