Consumer Storage Area Network (SAN) options?
I’m looking for a Storage Area Network (SAN) device to attach to my home network. I have two basic requirements -
It must be an ethernet-based device (not USB) to plug into my four port wireless router.
It should have the capability to run RAID 0 (disk mirroring), either out-of-the-box or with some setup.
Ideally, 500 GB or higher, but if costs and options preclude that, I’ll consider sub-500 GB devices.
What brands out there meet these requirements?
