How do I stop foreclosure on my home/shop? I live in a metal building and have 33 acres and have been unemployed over 1yr. My lender is calling the note in 18 days no one will lend to me because the building has more storage area2/3 than living1/3 will not meet requirements for home loan and if it did the property would be worth more than the home to get home loan.

Can A Person Who Purchased My Storage Unit Sell It Back To Me for Thousands?

share the love asked:

I am a struggling, yet accomplished artist who recently lost my enormous archives of original sketches, movie scripts, cartoon illustrations, and toy proto-types in a public storage. This is so humiliating and hurtful, but after I lost my job with a major publishing company, and lost my home, I fell behind three months on my storage. The sell was yesterday, and the guy who purchased the unit at the auction was given my number to contact me, as all the property is copyrighted archives, and proto type designs, and it’s not like he could sell it. The big catch here, is that I was involved in a high profie copyright infringement lawsuit with a major studio, and my case files were in the unit. Today, the guy that purchased unit, called me from a blocked number and said he has researched me, and before he sells me back my belongings he is going to have the work valued. I feel soo terrible, and would not wish this on anyone. What can I do legally? The guy called me once, and I also got a prank call, regarding my unit. Does anyone have any suggestions.

In Ohio during a bankruptcy, a vehicle can not be repossessed until the bankruptcy has been discharged. I think, that they can only charge storage from the time of the discharge until the time of repossession.

mommy l asked:

I had a rented storage unit and I had all of my things in it due to losing my home because of me going back and forth out of town for surgeries. My family had to put all of my stuff in the storage unit and the computer got put in there. It is rented from Aarons. Where I am homeless and only have a monthly income of 600.00 a month, I fail behind on my payment on them. They told me the only way to get the comuter was to pay them 200 and something dollars. I didn’t have this. Aarons told me they would give me until the 1st of December till they take legal action because this is a felony offense. To take their items. Well, I got a letter in my po box that they took possesion of my items and sold them. I have no clue if they sold the computer or not but I am sure they did (even though they knew it was property of aarons) My question is, what can I do? How much trouble am I in? Will I go to jail for a long time? I am so worried about this, it’s crazy. Please no rude or hateful comments, I can’t take any of those right now. Thanks for all the help.
thank you so much Jennifer! You have made me feel so much better, do you have yahoo messanger or any other type of messanger? would love to get your help further
thank you soo much to the both of you. You both have made me feel so much better. I just hope that god blesses you both in return and that you both trully know how much you have helped me and how you put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. thank you both again.

My fiancee and I are getting married next summer but we want to start buying some furniture and things for our home between now and then when we see things we like on sale and at auctions and yard sales. However, we won’t have our home untill probably January at the earliest, more likely March-April. We need to rent a storage place but I have no idea how to go about doing this. How do I know how much space we need to rent? How much is a fair price? What precautions does the storage place and us need to take to make sure that our things are safe from leaky roofs, theifs, etc.

Is it possible to sell your home to a bank?

TaiB. asked:

My husband and I are looking to sell our home for something bigger but we’re working on a budget and we’re not quite sure where to begin. This will be our first time selling a home so we don’t want to be tricked and we do, of course, want to get top dollar.

We currently live in a modular home or a manufactured home inside a lovely community. Our home is a double wide with 3 bedrooms and 2 bath rooms, vaulted ceiling and a skylight in the hallway bathroom. We’re looking at 1,300 sq ft. of room. The entire home is carpeted throughout except for, of course, the kitchen and the bathroom. The master bedroom has a private bathroom, with a separate shower and tub. The home also has a storage unit and a car port attached.

What we were wondering is if it was possible to sell your home to a bank or someplace where we could completely wash our hands of this home without actually having to do the legwork ourselves or taking a loss via credit?

Tracie R asked:

I have had my home listed for just about 35-40 days. When I met my realtor, he talked a great game at my kitchen table. I really thought he knew what he was doing and was going to work for me. However, everything has fell apart with him. He says one thing and then completely says something different in the next call, email or text. He had several things listed incorrectly in my listing, such as stated I had brick fireplace when it is ceramic tile, said we were all electric when we have some gas. He does not believe in advertising the selling points of my home such as deck, storage shed and many others. He states we should let them be surprised when they get here. He doesn’t follow through with calling when he is suppose to or sending information he is suppose to. He is always busy with personal things and is the excuse when he does not do what he says he will. There are so many things in less than a month that in my opinion has been poor customer service and completely unprofessional. I am in a 6 month agreement, which I thought I had no option. I really need to sell my home, but it is going to be difficult to do with this guy.

Any suggestions?
I did have a sit down with him a week ago today. I discussed my concerns and still having the same problems. I asked for him to call me last night. He send me email stating he would call me at 4:30 today. Of course, I couldn’t talk at the minute he called at 4:30. He said he would call in an hour or two and then I got an email stating I was busy at 4:30 and now he does not have time to call me until Wed after 5 pm. It is Monday. I never stated 4:30 was a good time. I guess I will try going to the broker.

I think I will go to the broker and see where I can get with that.

chasity_leshea92 asked:

my family is wanting to increase the value of our home we have 5 large bedrooms 3 full baths with an open kitchen needless to say its very large, right now its worth about $70,000 and we want to increase anywhere from $95,000-$110,000 i know that extra bedrooms can increase value by $5,000 but can anyone tell me how much a swimming pool, storm shelter, large storage shed, new flooring, new central AC unit, and new interior doors would increase value
location is not the problem its a really good town….and the storm shelter would increase value because i live in alabama and everyone here is always heading for the basement in the county hospital we have alot of storm issues here and its priced so low now because its a double wide but its huge the hall ways looks like the shining lol
