I have been asked to provide the desert course for a large meeting, there will be 150 portions needed and they will have to be ready on site with no kitchen facilities there. the budget is low $1 or 50p per portion, I have some ideas - lets have yours please! the even is in Oct in UK so I don’t expect it to be a temperature storage issue.

The book is by Marilyn Hodges. I own a copy of the book but it is currently 6000 miles away from me in storage and I need the recipe now. It is a recipe for a base for the soup you can freeze. I remember it included soy sauce and perhaps wheat flour.

waybenn asked:

Every Christmas, I used to make my grandfather fudge. I accumulated six or seven flavors and would end up making pounds of it and giving it to everyone. I quit doing it a few years after he passed away as it is a chore to make that much fudge. However, if I were to spread it out, I could revive the “tradition”. The problem is storage. What is the best way to store fudge and how far in advance can I start whippin it up. (so to speak)
