Get rid of kitchenware and storage boxes’ smell?

I let a friend of my house-sitting for me over 2 months and when I came home, my non-stick cookware and my plastic storage boxes have some very weird and disgusting smell. Even my friend has offered the money for the compensation, I still want to tackle this problem because frankly I have tried a lots of way to clean these smell: from baking soda, bleach, Lysol (the all-purpose deodorize one) and the smells are still there. Help? Anyone?

can i get bird mites out of my furniture?

We are putting out stuff in storage for a few weeks, but tossing out the mattress. Should we bother keeping the lounge suite or should we just take it to the dump? The whole unit is clean EXCEPT the fryer pan. It has OLD greasy gunk (technical term there) stuck to it… and twice in the dish washer, soaked, and scrubbed, it still isn’t ‘clean’ to my specifications. What can I soak this thing in that will REALLY do the job? I’ve heard of putting Coke Cola in a toilet bowl to clean it… would it do the job for this dirty strainer?
